DESCRIPTION:The School Kit program is transitioning from Diane Kidd to Marc
 ia Schwartz. We send a HUGE thank you to Diane for all the years the assur
 ed this program was a success. It is alot of work to organize the kits\, g
 et the word out\, collect and check the kits and then get them to the deli
 very depot. We are so fortunate that Diane and George took this on\, we ca
 nnot thank them enough. \nMarcia Schwartz a member of the Women's Club wa
 s a long time resident of Hancock and has rallied the making of the bags f
 or years. \nThe way it will work: Volunteers purchase the items below at 
 a back to school sale\, or may a csh donation to support the project. Both
  options are delivered to Marcia. The items will be placed in the handmade
  cotton totes\, packed into shipping boxes and taken to our depot in Bow\,
  NH. From their they are delivered to a holding warehouse ready when the n
 ext disaster strikes. \nPlease note the new list just updated. \nFormerl
 y known as the School Kit\, this refreshed version includes updated suppli
 es tailored for elementary-age children. It features items like colored pe
 ncils\, glue sticks\, and folders\, alongside traditional essentials such 
 as scissors\, notebooks\, and rulers\, ensuring that the kits support both

 piral-bound notebook\n30-cm/12” ruler\nHand-held pencil sharpener (packa
 ging removed)\nLarge eraser\nSix new\, unsharpened pencils (bundled with a
  rubber band)\nBox of 24 crayons 12”x14” to 14”x17”\nOptional: Han
 dmade or store-bought pencil pouch\n\nA group of area women have sewn the 
 tote bags for the kits. They are fun\, durable and beautiful.
